The Furniture Bank of Ottawa was originally established to support refugees with donated household furnishings, however, the needs of a broader community emerged and the Bank was soon providing good quality donated furniture and household items to clients referred by social agencies and support groups throughout the city. The Furniture Bank currently helps more than 50 families furnish their own homes each month.

The Furniture Bank distributes donated furniture and household items to clients referred from local social services, religious institutions, or agencies. Downsizing, moving, changing your decore?  Let someone benefit from your change – re-cycle the possessions you no longer need.

We are always looking for volunteers!
